Basic Dental Examination Package

1. General Hematology

Complete Blood Count – CBC: Assesses anemia, inflammation, and platelet count before performing dental procedures.

2. Blood glucose check

Any or fasting glucose: Check blood glucose levels at the time of testing.

HbA1c: Assess average blood glucose over a 2–3 month period. Appropriate blood glucose control is important for wound healing and the risk of infection after the procedure.

3. Coagulation ability

PT, INR and Prothrombin time: Evaluates the extrinsic coagulation pathway, helping to identify bleeding risk before tooth extraction or procedure.

APTT: Evaluates the intrinsic coagulation pathway, helping to detect certain coagulation abnormalities.

4. HIV Screening

HIV Combo: HIV screening using a combined antigen and antibody test helps doctors develop appropriate care and infection control plans.
