1. HEMATOLOGY (Complete Blood Count)

Red blood cells (RBC, Hb, Hct, MCV, MCH, MCHC): Assess the state of anemia, red blood cell disorders, and the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood.

White blood cells and their lineages (WBC, Neutrophil, Lymphocyte, Monocytes, Eosinophils, Basophils, Atypical Lymphocytes): Screening for inflammation, infection, immune system disorders, and malignant blood diseases.

Platelet count: An assessment of the body’s ability to clot blood.

2. CARDIOVASCULAR FACTORS (Blood lipid profile)

4. KIDNEY FUNCTION

Creatinine, Urea, and eGFR (glomerular filtration rate): These assess the kidneys’ ability to filter and eliminate toxins, helping to detect early signs of kidney failure or other kidney diseases.

5. DIABETES SCREENING

Glucose (fasting blood glucose): Reflects the amount of sugar in the blood at the time the sample is taken.

HbA1c: Reflects the average blood glucose level over the past 2-3 months and is an important indicator for diagnosing and monitoring diabetes treatment.

6. GOUT AND THYROID SCREENING

Uric acid: The most important indicator for diagnosing and monitoring gout.

TSH: Checks the levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone, helping to screen for hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism early on.

Total calcium: Assesses the calcium level in the blood, which is related to bone, parathyroid, and kidney problems.
