Test package information
Syphilis:
Syphilis is a bacterial infection.
+ VDRL : test looks for the presence of antibodies produced by the immune system to fight bacteria. The results of the VDRL test can suggest whether a person is likely to be infected with syphilis.
+ TPHA : used to quantify antibodies in the blood, while providing useful information for the disease diagnosis process (semi-quantitative)
+ Syphilis : quantifies antibodies against syphilis spirochetes, helping to better determine the level of infection.
CMV virus (Cytomegalovirus):
– It is a common virus that can be transmitted through body fluids such as saliva, urine, blood, semen, and breast milk. Most people are infected with CMV in their lifetime, but many people have no symptoms. However, CMV can cause serious health problems in people with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, and newborns.
– Negative result: This means that no CMV virus was detected in the test sample. However, it does not completely rule out the possibility that you have been infected with CMV in the past.
– Positive result: Means that CMV virus was detected in the test sample, further evaluation by a doctor is needed to determine the severity of the infection and to decide on appropriate treatment.
HIV Virus: Rapid test detects HIV in blood, HIV is the virus that causes immunodeficiency in humans.
HSV 1,2:
– The HSV 1,2 test is a blood test used to detect antibodies to two types of herpes simplex virus (HSV), including HSV-1 (Herpes Simplex Virus 1) and HSV-2 (Herpes Simplex Virus 2).
– Herpes simplex virus is a type of virus that causes sexually transmitted infections. HSV-1 usually causes oral problems such as oral thrush and herpes gingivitis, while HSV-2 is usually associated with genital infections such as genital herpes.
HPV Screening 16 Types:
Screening test for 16 high-risk HPV strains that cause cervical cancer and other HPV-related diseases (nasopharyngeal cancer, penile cancer, anal cancer, etc.).
Chlamydia:
– Chlamydia trachomatis IgG, IgM: is a common sexually transmitted bacteria and can cause diseases such as vaginitis, cervicitis and urethritis.
– Chlamydia pneumoniae IgG, IgM: Causes respiratory diseases (pneumonia, pharyngitis) transmitted from person to person.
Gonococcal bacteria – N. gonorrhoeae + C.trachomatics – PCR
– PCR technique is used to detect the DNA of two types of bacteria that cause gonorrhea: N. gonorrhoeae + C.trachomatics.
– Symptoms of the disease in men: Symptoms of posterior urethritis, epididymitis, seminal vesiculitis, and prostatitis can appear in men, which can be acute or chronic.
– Symptoms in women: Signs include increased vaginal discharge, painful urination, menstrual disorders and bleeding between menstrual cycles. Gonorrhea in women can lead to many dangerous complications such as endometritis, urethritis and even infertility.
Candida (IgM, IgG): is a type of fungus that causes inflammation and itching in the vagina in women and foreskin in men, with painful urination and signs of ulcers.
Gram-negative diplococci examination:
– Gram-negative bacteria are often the main cause of gonorrhea such as urethritis, epididymitis, orchitis, and prostatitis in men, as well as vaginitis, endometritis, and cystitis in women. Gram-negative diplococci test helps detect these bacteria early in body fluid samples such as urine and vaginal fluid, helping to make an accurate diagnosis and timely treatment.
– Gram-negative bacteria are often associated with serious infections in people with HIV/AIDS. Gram-negative diplococci can be used as part of a comprehensive diagnostic and treatment plan for people with HIV/AIDS.
Hepatitis B screening – HBsAg, Anti HBs:
– HBsAg : Hepatitis B virus surface antigen. This is the initial and most basic test to detect hepatitis B virus infection or not.
– Anti HBs (HbsAb): Hepatitis B virus surface antibody. This test helps assess the level of antibodies against the hepatitis B virus in the body. The person being tested will rely on this result to know whether or not they need to be vaccinated.
Hepatitis C Screening – Anti HCV:
– Test to detect hepatitis C virus infection or not”
