Pathlab Terms of Service
Applicable to: Customers using testing, consultation, and other medical services at Pathlab Testing Center.
1. Scope of Application
These Terms apply to all customers when booking, sample collection, using services, or receiving results at the Center. By using the services, customers are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to all contents below.
2. Rights and Responsibilities of Customers
- Provide complete and accurate personal information, medical history, current medications, and other relevant details when requested.
- Follow the instructions of medical staff during registration, sample collection, and after receiving results.
- Make full payment according to the posted price list or prior agreement before using the services (if required).
- Have the right to request explanation of test results, file complaints in case of errors, and request data backup/deletion in accordance with regulations.
- Be responsible for the use of test results; the Center is not liable if customers interpret or apply results without proper medical expertise.
3. Rights and Responsibilities of the Center
- Perform testing procedures in compliance with professional standards, ensuring quality, accuracy, and transparency.
- Maintain confidentiality of customers’ personal information and test results, disclosing only with written consent of the customer or as required by authorities.
- Explain the meaning of test results if requested and provide further recommendations when necessary (not a substitute for specialist medical advice).
- Reserve the right to refuse service if customers violate safety rules, cause disorder, or disrupt the Center’s operations.
4. Limitation of Liability
Test results are for professional reference only. They do not replace diagnosis or treatment instructions from medical specialists. The Center is not responsible for consequences arising from customers’ self-use, misinterpretation, or failure to consult a doctor.
5. Payment and Refund
- Customers must pay according to regulations: before sample collection or as announced by the Center.
- In case of errors due to testing process, equipment, or mistakes by the Center, the Center will recheck, retest, or refund in line with internal policy and agreement with the customer.
- No refund will be issued if the customer cancels appointments without following the cancellation policy (if applicable) or due to reasons arising from the customer.
6. Data Privacy
The Center is committed to protecting customers’ personal data and test results. Information is shared only with customer consent or as required by law. Unauthorized disclosure will be handled in accordance with regulations.
7. Amendments to Terms
The Center reserves the right to update or amend these Terms as needed. Any changes will be announced on the website or through official communication channels. Continued use of services after amendments constitutes acceptance of those changes.
8. Dispute Resolution
All disputes shall be resolved primarily through mutual agreement between both parties. If agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be settled in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
